Start your pet on a vet-approved flea and tick preventive before the season is in full swing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Protect against heartworms: <\/strong>For pets, mosquitoes are more than just annoying. They can carry heartworm disease, which can make your dog or cat seriously ill. A monthly heartworm preventive can protect your pet from infection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inspect your pet after outdoor adventures: <\/strong>If your pet loves to explore hiking trails or grassy areas, check them for ticks when you get home.
